The longest bootcamp experience:
I
started conducting IT-trainings and installed first networks in 1985 !!!
I
have been conducting Boot Camps to help students prepare for the CCIE
exam since the Fall of 1995.
No other instructor
or training organization has as much experience.
International experience:
I conducted trainings, consulted or installed networks in more than 27
countries on 4
continents.
I have trained employees and engineers at Cisco TAC in
Brussels,
Paris and London.
Additionally, I have provided non-public classes
(CRIC, SEDW) to Cisco engineers.
Several proctors are former Heinz Ulm students.

A CCSI- and CCIE-"dinosaur":
I became a Cisco Certified Systems Instructor (CCSI
93038) in
1993.
At that time, there were only a handful of instructors worldwide.
I started with IOS version 8.3
I obtained my Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE
1561) in August 1995
on my first attempt.
Cisco started their CCIE numbering at 1024 , so I'm
only the
537th individual to obtain their CCIE !
In 2005 I was awarded by Cisco Systems as one of only 300 10-years-CCIE's in the world !

Prepared over 700 CCIEs from many countries to pass their exams.

Hall Of Fame
Recommended and referred by
Cisco networkers and other networking conference presenters:
“The best CCIE
Boot Camp Worldwide is run by a German guy named
Heinz Ulm in Augsburg !”
A quote
from a Cisco presenter at the Cisco Networker’s Conference in
Chicago
(Thanks to Tom Hagman from Florida
USA
for bringing this information to me.)
“
Sitting
in Heinz Ulm’s CCIE class is as if you would get
your CCIE
number at the end of
the class.”
A
quote from an unknown attendee at a Networking Conference in the
Netherlands in
2000. There was a
podium discussion
about the complexity,
difficulty, worth and meaning of IT-certifications.
There were many
discussions about the specific
difficulties to obtain a CCIE.
(Thanks
to Robert Teeuw, former Comparex, NL employee, for
bringing this information to
me.)
"I was speaking to a German Customer who opened a TAC case and has nothing
but good things to say about the course....
How much did you pay him or is he a relative ?"
A quote from Feisal of Cisco TAC UK
“Heinz
Ulm is a legend.”
Quoted
from newsgroup “alt.certification.cisco” and
“comp.dcom.sys.cisco”
Great Training Environment
Equipment:
We use 6 routers and several switches per student (unshared !)
(You will not find 700, 800, 1000, 1600, 1700, 2500 series routers in your pod)
Since August 2009 some tasks have 13 routers per student !!!
Although
our camps are designed for groups, we encourage individualized
learning. Each student has their own 11 (now 17 !)
devices unshared. With
remote access via VPN (extra; but cheap: best rack rental rates worldwide)
after the camp, they can power on/off their hardware.
Beautiful
surroundings
We
offer very quiet
locations
supporting your
concentrated studies. You
won't hear any
traffic or factory noises. The
loudest sounds
you will hear are the birds singing in the trees.
To relax, you can enjoy
our large gardens and terraces. Having these mini escapes
from your training
help to refresh and rejuvenate yourself so you can endure the long hours
of learning.
Students
with a mix of experience and
diverse cultures
Heinz Ulm
offers the opportunity to exchange ideas and experience with
students from all
over the world. In addition to the
networkingtraining, you will learn about other cultures, business
practices
and other diversities that are shared amongst the students in
casual
discussions.
Our
students come from more than 72 countries
Great Hospitality
Our
students say that we treat them like a guest or family friend,
not just a
student. We believe
it’s important to
make our students feel as much at home as possible.
Our students spend up to 3 weeks with us
and we want them to feel at home. A comfortable and
hospitable environment is
most conducive to learning. So
we
encourage our students to make themselves at home and just
focus on the tasks
at hand.
Look what great foods we've got in Spain at lunch
A student wrote:
"The feeling to be treated more as a guest not just as a student was a
great experience. I appreciated a lot."
Answers to "What was among your best experiences during the camp?"
Best Training and the Best Value
We offer
excellent pricing structures that meet your needs and budget.
Don’t forget about our payment plans! Compared
to other offerings in the marketplace, Heinz Ulm boot camps
offer the most
comprehensive courses with the greatest achievement outcomes.
Compare our boot camp prices to others in the
US
that cost around $5,000 for just one week. Many of our
students
have taken classes from our competitors and then came to us to
get better
prepared. The other classes simply were not as
comprehensive as the Heinz Ulm classes.
You can get VPN access after class to do more hands-on
for very affordable prices
