"The best CCIE Boot Camp Worldwide is run by a German guy named Heinz Ulm in Augsburg"

A quote from a Cisco presenter at the Cisco Networker's Conference in Chicago.

"You should know, that exactly what I heard in 2015 at Cisco Live."

A quote from a US Boot Camp student who is a Cisco instructor:

"Just come back at home after 3 weeks at Heinz Ulm CCIE Boot camp. Great experience!
If you have yet a solid background and you are ready for an intensive period of hard study you can really improve your preparation for your CCIE Lab.
I studied for 12 hours daily (90% hand-on on my 7 routers, changing and tuning every hour my solutions) , Saturday and Sunday inclusive, I solved all the Evil Bastard tasks, I hear his interesting hints and I understood so much style improvements for my configuration.
I' m entusiastic of that course.
And finally I'm sure that Heinz is the best Cisco Instructor I ever meet in my career, a real solid Networking knowledge and a big smile everyday in his face"

"The amazing happened, I took your word at heart and studied my ass off and got my number at the first go! CCIE 38666 (even the devil is proud of me). After my bootcamp with you I especially focused on READING the questions and being much more meticulous in my configurations and checking of my work, which you quite bluntly pointed out to me . Since my bootcamp I think I spent at least 60 hours a week practicing and focusing on these weaknesses.
So thanks for contributing to my CCIE!           CCIE 38666 (Netherlands)"

"The student is taught strategy and to make no assumptions. In other camps, one may "told" to make no assumptions; Heinz takes this a step further and demonstrates at every single opportunity what assumptions can be made and what questions are the correct questions to ask. The student is taught strategy and a careful strategy involves rigorous hands-on lab time followed by solving complex network configurations that Heinz or one of his "MINI-ME's" have concocted for each student. Yes, I am telling you that he studies you as you progress through his labs, and he customizes the labs you are presented each day in a methodical fashion of helping each student not only realize his weaknesses, but also learning from them and even turning them into strengths. Be prepared he does not neglect what you thought were your strengths either."

"He breaks you down as you realize where you are truthfully with regard to your skills.
He then builds you up. He creates an "Espirit de Corp" that I have not seen since hanging out with the MARDET back in my Navy days. His students are loyal. They come as clients and leave as friends."

"My overall impression was quite favorable. He is a humble man who only has one mission and that is to prepare CCIE Candidates to take the CCIE Lab and be prepared to pass it. Apparently he does this well. He will ask you questions. He will engage you. He will ask you to explain yourself, even if you are right, you must still know why... If you consider this painful or torture then it is what it is. However, consider this: his students, time after time, remain motivated to work heavy into the night and into the morning each and every day and each and every class to try to complete the tasks they have been assigned. His students forego sleep as a rule. They are so intent into whatever he is teaching; whatever he has assigned them; and whatever he has asked them to do. He has an uncanny undeniable ability to simply motivate his students to go one step further and each student just does whatever is expected."

"I had the fortunate opportunity to attend a 3 week Heinz Ulm Bootcamp in preparation for my CCIE R&S Lab. I found the bootcamp extremely useful to practice the full scope of work for the R&S Lab blueprint, and specifically fine tune interpretation of Lab questions and configuration speed.
The Denver bootcamp location which I attended, has the advantage of providing accommodation in the same location where the Lab/workspace is located. This meant you are able to start as early, and continue working as late as you require, and being close to a bed when your configs start looking blurry from tiredness.
I recommend anyone that has the means and time available to attend a Heinz Ulm bootcamp, preferably about 1 month before attempting the Lab.          CCIE 34847 (South Africa)"
