I'm conducting certified Cisco classes since 1993 and preparation workshops/bootcamps to prepare for the CCIE exam since 1995. Pre-requisites Extended trainings hours Additional lectures on learning techniques, learning psychology and stress management (You might have heard most people fail because they are their own enemies. Panic and black-outs play a significant role when failing. We considered this and put a special focus on it. ) There are special stress-exercises. Our Bootcamp is tough, extremely tough. Harder than the lab, as most CCIEs tell us. Expect long work hours, even on the weekend. CCIE 25604 wrote: "I thought I knew my routing before I attended to Heinz Ulm 3 week bootcamp. I was totally wrong. The master himself taught me things that I had never seen before. I found out that I wasn't that good after all. The drilling really paid off and now I am a CCIE. Heinz Ulm bootcamp is a must for every candidate. " Read here what others said about our trainings. You'll enjoy the access to the equipment in the evening and even on weekends as long as you want (24/7) This gives you several advantages: a) you can deepen your hands-on experience b) you can experiment with different solutions ("many ways towards Rome") c) you can play with different topologies (we have enough exercises for this) d) you can catch-up in case you are falling behind Highspeed redundant SDSL internet access from the training-room. Individual and personal "coaching"-talk with each student All approved and successful components and concepts from previous versions of our bootcamps are integrated in the new bootcamp CCIE 23777 wrote: "Many thanks for the good company.. it's been a tense but fun time. Many thanks to Heinz and Heiko for all the good advice and the tough mock labs - it has helped me a lot to improve my Lab strategy and timing." All classes are in english (even when German students only)
"Student from US: Excellent Bootcamp !"
REMOTE ACCESS (VPN/IPSec). Students of our 3 weeks - Bootcamps get 1 additional week of free remote access to their racks after the bootcamp via VPN/IPSec Tunnel. You can use this for repeating our labs, configuring mocklabs, additional hands-on exercises.More info about our locations Download corner (registration forms and other stuff) Due to experiences from past bootcamps there is a "prerequisite" to be in our bootcamp. You must proof CCNP status. or passed "written": If you can't proof CCNP you must have successfully done the CCIE-written. The status must be achieved prior to the class start, not when registering. If you have the status already when registering, even better. The reasons are quite simple. If someone doesn't meet this minimum requirement the bootcamp cannot be successfull, the exercises could not be completed successfully, the student would dramatically fall behind the other students, frustration and depression can occur on the side of the student and the fellow-students. We are experiencing more and more lacking knowledge with the students. Please read this article Heinz wrote how a student should be prepared. I.e.: Some have never sit in any official Cisco class or have similar experience. Some have never heard of candidate defaults with EIGRP. Some just don't know the difference between DCE and DTE cables. The "must-haves"-books were already read (and understood, hopefully). You will be taught the do's and dont's, deeper technical tricks, hints, tuning and troubleshooting stuff. Don't forget that 90 % of our bootcamp is hands-on. Our camps are thought to be the final class to be visited prior to the exam. Your pre-existing knowledge and experience will be deepened and polished. Heinz, thank you too. Your system, training materials are very well structured and do their job well. I did not realize how much we improved through these three weeks. Without bootcamp I had no chance to it. Actually I had no hope at the beggining... now I have the number:"
A student: "..although it is really intense,
I am enjoying it and have learnt a huge amount.." Extended training hours (and days) The extended access hours offer more time for lecturing and hands-on : All devices can be turned on/off remotely.
We are administering the classes ourself, controlling the
whole:
Our registration forms are accepted only. Please let us know a bit about you. Fill out the questionaire-form which is bundled with the registration form. Download corner

" WOW - I thought – I really passed it ! What a wonderful feeling after the endless hours of studying before the exam. I cannot explain how good this feels. But those of you who have done the exam will know what I mean. I think I would not have passed it on the 1st attempt without the weeks of full-time preparation right before the exam. Special thanks to Heinz Ulm (aka Drill-Heinz) and Heiko Groeger, instructors at the famous Heinz Ulm Bootcamp for the challenging mock labs, and all the good advice. MOCK H was EVIL !!
