Phoenix Gold Mine

Phoenix Goldmine

Idaho Springs was one of the first regions, some say the first in which
the gold rush originated.

The Phoenix mine is operated by the oldest continuous gold mining
family in Colorado.It is a working gold mine where miners actually do
the work.

We were allowed to do our own gold panning. You can keep what
you find. Actually Adrian and Lena found some gold dust.
